Surprise

	Angela glided gracefully though the darkened 
night to Elisa's apartment building. Landing as quietly 
as a cat, Angela looked for a moment trying to see Elisa 
in the shadows. Finally she gave up and called for her. 
	Elisa appeared from deep within the shadows.
	"What took so long?" Elisa inquired, hoping 
Angela had not told the others anything. She was hoping 
no one but Angela was there.
	" I had to make up some excuse so the others 
would not follow me here if you know what I mean." The 
teenager giggled.
	" And what might that be?"
	" Oh you'll see." She chuckled some more.
	Elisa could only guess what the excuse might have 
been. Them the two glided off the castle together.

	The boys were all in the TV room. Lex, Brooklyn, and 
Broadway were playing a video game. Hudson and Bronx were 
cheering them on, and Goliath was quietly reading a book, 
not really paying any attention to anything else. Angela 
and Elisa came in quietly, trying not to attract any 
attention. 
	" So how much did you get?" asked Lex, not looking 
up from their game. In fact, nobody looked up when they 
came in, which made it all the more fun. 
	Angela giggled.
	" That much, huh?"
	" Get what?" Elisa murmured quietly.
	" Candy."
	" What do you mean, candy?"
	Before Angela could answer, Hudson chuckled. "Aye, 
and whit color de ya two die yuir hair?" The thought of 
the colors that the two might have done could have made 
him die laughing.
	May I just remind you that no one has even looked 
at the two?
	Before Angela could answer, Elisa piped in, "A 
really bright pink".
	Hudson thought the two were crazy to do something 
like that so he looked up them. At this he started to 
say, " I thought ya hated pin... Holy Shi-" 
	" Watch your mouth." Goliath roared.
	When he did this, he did not even stop reading.
	" What in th' world de do to yuirself, Elisa?"
	Not even looking up, Goliath rolled his eyes. He 
returned, "I don't even want to know."
	" Nothing." She answered sweetly.
	" It don't look like notin' ta' me."
	" Will you two keep it down?" demanded Lex. He 
looked up then and his mouth hit the floor. " Who's your 
friend Angela, she's a real hottie". At this, the two 
other teenaged gargoyles looked up.
	Next to Angela stood Elisa. Not the Elisa 
everyone knew, but a girl gargoyle dressed in a black 
tunic like Angela. She also had a scar on her cheek and 
the arrowhead necklace on that Elisa always wore.
	" Elisa." Giggled Angela 
	" No way Elisa is hideous and she is well, a hottie so 
tell me who this really is."
	" So I was hideous, ey?"
	Lex gasped, this could not be Elisa. How could she pull 
something like this off? Goliath rolled his eyes still 
not listening.
	" Goliath, aye think ya should stop reading right now and 
see what the lass did to herself!" Hudson stammered. 
	" In one moment, till then I can only imagine." 
	By this time, the two girls could no longer keep 
from laughing.
	" This is no laughing matter ya two!" bellowed Hudson.
	" Yea!" Chimed in Broadway and Lex.
	" To make us think I could finally get me a girl," 
whined Brooklyn.
	 " Hey what about me!" yelled Lex.
	 " You should know that I get first dibs on all girls!"
	 " And I would like to know who in the hell made up that 
rule, my so-called loving brother, that says no girl will 
come between us."
	" I did make up that rule, for your information, my little 
brother."
	 The two started bickering about girls, which 
made the two girls in the room start to laughing so hard 
that tears started rolling from their eyes. Goliath was 
really getting mad and then could longer keep from 
looking up at the chaos that was happening all around 
him. "Enough!" He then fixed his gaze at someone that he 
would know in any form. " Holy sh-" 
	" Now ya watch yar mouth," smiled Hudson
	" Who did this to you!" he roared.
	" Nobody but me," she answered, not looking at his eyes.
	" What is that supposed to mean!" roared the lavender 
gargoyle his eyes firing an uncanny platinum ray.
	" I didn't do anything, except ask Puck."
	" You should know better than to do something like 
that. When on earth did you get a idea like this?"   
 	" Well," she started slowly, " do you remember 
when Puck flip-flopped us all around?" 
	" Yea," all of them chimed in, with the look on all their 
faces like 'duh how could we ever forget that'.
	" Okay, dumb question. Anyway, when all of you were busy having 
a heart to heart with Demona, I had a little chat with 
Puck. I asked him if he would turn me back into a 
gargoyle in three years. He said he owed me one, so he 
granted my wish. Do not ask me what the favor was, because 
I really do not know. You know that I did not even know 
that the Fay existed, until that night. The reason that I
did not tell you this until tonight, was that I thought 
you might try to talk me out of it. Now that it is done, 
nothing can change, so you're stuck with me for life." 
	While she said all this, everyone knew that she and 
Goliath were a thing and all, but they never knew that she 
would go this far to be with him forever. Finally, 
Goliath spoke wryly, still quite surprised that his love
loved him that much. "So it has been three years to the 
night that the spell was cast."
	" Yep." 
	" Who else knows what you did?"
	" Only Matt and Derek. If he tells my parents, I am dead 
meat, but I think that if he is smart he won't." She 
smiled slyly. 
	" Yea, Matt kinda said something, like you were planing 
something, but with you it just sounded normal," joked 
Brooklyn.
	Elisa rolled her eyes. "Hah hah, I think I am choking."
	" Oh really?" He sounded optimistic, but you could see dancing 
in his eyes. "Hey, we might even get to do a little mouth 
to mouth tonight, boys." He looked at his brothers with a 
smooth smile.
	" Fat chance, little boy".      
	" Little boy!"
	" Yep!"
	" I am 15!"
	" I am 29!"
	" I am taller, stronger, and smarter."
	" All right, ye two!"
	The two stopped dead in a middle of a sentence. The tone in 
Hudson's voice was not a joking one, so they stopped, not 
even bothering to finish their argument. Goliath jumped 
out from behind Elisa, picked her up, and twirled her 
around then brought her down into a big bear hug. He 
whispered something in her ear so that no one else could 
hear, she smiled and nodded.
