Alexander Fox Xanatos is the son of David and Fox Xanatos. Soon after he was born, he was nearly kidnapped by Oberon for Titania, but an agreement was reached where Puck, a Child of Oberon who wished to stay in the world outside Avalon, would become the boy's protector and teacher. Since then, Puck, mostly in his now-dominant guise of Owen Burnett, has done his assigned duty.
One notable lesson of Puck's involved his teaching him the art of soul transference, which was used to place the "extra" souls of Coldstone in two robotic bodies. During that, Alex's spirit possessed Lexington, who used his ability of speech to help Alex cast the soul transfer spells.
This may have led to the bond that grew between Alex and Lexington after the Manhattan clan moved back into Castle Wyvern following the events of the Hunter's Moon. This bond, in turn, resulted in Lexington trying to mend the rift between himself and Alex's mother Fox.
In the Goliath Chronicles, Alex was kidnapped by Pat Doyle, a New York City mayoral candidate who planned to use the kidnapping of Alex to strengthen his campaign. He intended to "rescue" the baby and make himself a hero, ensuring a landslide victory. However, Alex was saved instead by the Manhattan clan, and Doyle's plot was exposed. Alex was safe once more.
Alex is still a happy baby, with loving parents, and two caring guardians in Owen/Puck and Lexington, as well as the rest of the Manhattan clan, to depend on.
Alex is a quarter Child of Oberon, and thus possesses great magical potential. With help, he may eventually be able to use the typical abilities of a fay. His known mystical skills at present involve shapeshifting and soul transference, but he will certainly learn more as time goes on. As he is only part-fay, it is unknown if he is vulnerable to iron as those of that race are.
