Banquo was one of MacBeth's henchmen in modern times. Along with Fleance, he stole the Scrolls of Merlin for the immortal Scotsman, and clashed with the gargoyles twice during that affair. Later, he served as MacBeth's best man in his ill-fated marriage to Dominque Destine.
When MacBeth quested for the sword Excalibur, Banquo and Fleance fought the Manhattan clan again, and did much better than previously- still, however, they lost. Perhaps due to this, they left MacBeth's employ, and were hired months later by Jon Castaway, becoming chief soldiers for the Quarrymen.
On their first major outing as Quarrymen, they were nearly successful in destroying Goliath while in stone sleep, but were delayed by Elisa Maza until sundown. With other Quarrymen, they pursued the pair to the ruin of the clock tower, and faced them again, but they were taken out by the gargoyle and the detective.
Banquo's current status is unknown, but one assumes he is still with the Quarrymen.
Banquo was not his actual name- this was the name assigned him in the script and credits, but never actually used on the series.
Banquo was a very strong fighter, and skilled with various types of firearms. He was also a proficient pilot, able to fly a variety of vehicles including VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) jets, skycycles, hovercraft, and helicopters. Upon joining the Quarrymen, he became equipped with tough Quarryman armor and a deadly Quarryman hammer. He was also privy to the truth of MacBeth's existence, as well as his secret identities- this knowledge could threaten his former employer.
