Mr. Blanchette was the owner of a moving company, hired by David Xanatos and Demona to move Goliath's statue, frozen in Central Park, to a garbage dump, while switching it with a duplicate. After the fact, Elisa Maza tracked him down, and, after failing to get Goliath's location from him by phone (he'd rather eat his asparagus casserole), she confronted him in person. When she threatened to arrest him for moving a statue without a permit (and after Hudson made a timely appearance), Blanchette became far more cooperative, giving Elisa the dump's address just in time to save the gargoyle leader from dying in a trash compactor.
Mr. Blanchette seemed to be a normal, average human male, with a penchant for asparagus casserole.
