History:

Bodhe was a noble of medieval Scotland. He was an ally of MacBeth's father, Lord Findlaech of Moray, and the father of Gruoch. Bodhe was present on the tragic night in AD 1020 when Findlaech was slain by Gillecomgain, the original Hunter, watching but afraid to help.

Years later, in 1032, Bodhe was forced by Prince Duncan to marry Gruoch off to Gillecomgain, despite the fact that he knew of the love MacBeth and his daughter shared. He did this because he knew that, if he did not, Duncan would probably have him executed for high treason, and things would be even worse for Gruoch. Thus, when Gillecomgain met his well-deserved end, and Gruoch and MacBeth could marry, Bodhe was ecstatic.

When MacBeth was forced to battle Duncan in 1040, Bodhe served as one of his advisors. After Duncan's death, he gave some rather dishonorable but practical advice regarding the late king's son, Canmore- "He will be trouble- slay him now." MacBeth, however, did not take his advice or heed the warning therein, which would be his undoing.

By AD 1057, Bodhe was a very elderly man, but he still served as an advisor to the King MacBeth. Canmore, banished to England 17 years earlier, now returned with English troops, bent on overthrowing MacBeth and destroying his "evil" gargoyle allies. Bodhe believed the English were solely after the gargoyles, and showed his cowardly nature by suggesting they forswear the clan to them. This, he believed, would leave Canmore without support. While MacBeth did not agree with this, Demona believed he would, and led her clan to abandon him for Canmore.

MacBeth's kingdom collapsed, but Bodhe still survived, crowning Prince Luach king when his father "died." What happened to Bodhe after that is unknown, but he surely died soon afterwards.

Powers, Abilities, and Weaknesses:

Bodhe was not a major warrior, although he did have some skill in archery. He was a good advisor and a competent strategist, able to assist MacBeth well. However, he had a strong streak of self-preservation, enough even to sacrifice others to save his own skin.
