Cocoa was the prototype for Broadway in the comedic Gargoyles series plan, a "heavy-set female gargoyle with artistic pretensions and a great love of food." This character made its creators uncomfortable, so she became a he upon the conversion to a dramatic series.
Cocoa probably had the normal abilities of gargoyles, although reduced thanks to her reduced size. She was also skilled in things artistic and culinary.
