The Director is a mysterious individual with a grudge against the Illuminati. To help combat them, the Director would've gotten Robyn Canmore released from prison to lead a 'Dirty Dozen'-like team of villains, known as the Bad Guys. This team would've been composed of Dingo, the Matrix, & Yama, who were reformed and trying to make amends, and Fang, who, while not exactly reformed, was still with the team under pressure from the Director and Robyn Canmore.
As far as has been revealed, the Director is no more than a normal person with no special abilities, but who is very clever and intelligent.
