Dominic Dracon was a prominent gangster in Manhattan in the 1920s, and partner of another crime lord, Mason "Mace" Malone. The two even operated a night club, the Silver Falcon. However, when Mace joined the Illuminati and was forced to go into hiding, he stole valuable diamonds from his former partner. Dominic resolved to find him and the jewels.
Exactly what he occupied himself with in the seventy or so years between Mace's betrayal and the 1990s is unknown. However, he had a child, who in turn had a child. Both inherited his criminal empire, and his grandson was Anthony (Tony) Dracon. Dominic took a new identity, that of G.F. Benton, C.P.A. He set up shop in Mace Malone's old office, searching for his stolen property.
In 1995, Tony took up the search for the stolen diamonds, with some
background assistance from his grandfather. Both Matt Bluestone- who was
interested mainly in Mace's Illuminati ties- and Elisa
Maza- who was looking for Matt after he went missing- came to "G.F.
Benton" for clues. In both cases, Dominic led them into traps set by Tony.
The Dracons learned that the
jewels were connected with a silver falcon. Tony's idea was that it
was hidden beneath the abandoned Silver Falcon night club, but it wasn't.
When they captured Elisa, she thought that they may be in a silver falcon on the Chrysler Building, which could be seen from Mace's office. With Broadway's help, she defeated Tony, but Dominic confronted her atop the building, and there he learned that the "jewels" in the Chrysler's falcon were only marbles. Mace had the last laugh. A broken man, Dominic went quietly to prison.
In his day, Dominic Dracon was a formidable crime lord, skilled in the abilities one needs to run such an operation. He retained his clever mind up to the present.
