The Earth Resistance is a loosely-given name referring to those sentients (human, gargoyle and otherwise) who have joined in the fight against the Rokkan invasion of Earth. Centered in New York, the flashpoint for the entire invasion, the Resistance's core consists of Clan Manhattan and a few select humans.
Gargoyle Resistance Forces:
Rosanna/Rose Maza: Leader of Clan Manhattan, de facto
commander of the Earth Resistance. Having taken over the
leadership of the clan from her father, Rosanna is on a single-
minded mission to end the invasion through any means.
Samson: Second in command of Clan Manhattan, he is
the most powerful of the clan in physical strength skills,
the main reason why he was chosen as Rosanna's second.
A cyborg, he uses all of his gifts both natural and scientific to
fight the invaders.
Graeme and Ariana: The children of Brooklyn and Sata are
primarily used as backup during attacks on Rokkan encampments
and ships.
Lexington and Pontiac: Recently returned from Detroit, Lexington
and his mate are handy in any kind of situation which requires technical
skills. Lexington's computer expertise has been effective up to this
point; it remains to see whether Pontiac's mechanic skills will be
useful.
Lina and Rain: Newly arrived from Avalon, Lina and Rain are
effective magic users and hand-to-hand combatants. Though
they've seen limited action thus far, it only remains a matter of time
until their true utility is seen.
Liberty: Formerly a Rokkan sentry, Liberty acts as intelligence against
the Rokkans' strategies, as she is familiar with most of them. She is
invaluable in planning attacks.
Goliath and Broadway: Two of the last remaining original Clan
Manhattan gargoyles, they add their strategic expertise and wisdom
whenever necessary.
Human and other Resistance Forces:
Steve Bluestone: Matt's son, a police detective like his father, he is
invaluable in conducting crowd control and counter-intelligence within
human circles.
Alexander Fox Xanatos: The current owner of the Aerie Building and his
father's Xanacorp empire, Alexander utilizes his fae heritage as the clan's
primary medic and defensive expert.
Slash: Rosanna's mutate cousin, though mute and slightly retarded Slash
is the clan's daytime early-warning system. His guard watches over the
castle have saved the clan numerous times.
Nokkar and Sir Griff: Nokkar brought the knighted gargoyle with him when he
first came to Manhattan to warn of the impending invasion. Now, he and Griff
act as the main reconnaisance team for the Earth Forces.
Though not completely aligning himself with the Earth Forces, MacBeth has also entered the fight, but mainly because Demona is commanding the Rokkans.
The Earth Resistance's memberhship is always fluid, and changes as more and more fighters join up to fight the invaders.
