The unofficial Leader of Clan Winslow, Maine, Eddie was hatched in 1958. Eddie is loyal to her clan and will protect them no matter the cost. Her clan- what was left of what might have been the largest gargoyle population in the world- was raised by a human couple, Richie and Elly Mason, along with the last remaining gargoyle from the previous generations, Ben. They were raised as humans, though Ben taught them the gargoyle ways. In appreciation of the Masons' understanding, they helped with the farmwork, only taking room and board as payment. In 1974, however, there was a terrible accident. Eddie, only 26 (13 in human years), was operating the hay-reaper, when she lost control hitting a dirt mound. Her shirt was caught on the blades, and she screamed for help. Richie, Ben, and their gargoyle beast, Muttley, came to her rescue, but, in the aftermath, Eddie would remained scarred, Ben lost the use of his right wing, Muttley lost his leg, and Richie died from loss of blood. Eddie never forgave herself for that and carries that as a secret burden.

She is now romantically involved with the Outklaw Magnum.

Eddie possesses all the normal abilities and traits of gargoyles, including wings that enable her to glide, claws, talons, a prehensile tail, and eyes that glow red when she is enraged. During the day, she enters a regenerative "stone sleep," during which she turns into an organic stone-like substance and heals at a faster rate. In addition, she is an excellent sharpshooter with any projectile weapon and an excellent crack driver with any Class B and C vehicles as classified under the Maine Department of Motor Vehicles. Eddie is also a powerful speaker and influential leader.
