An invention from Xanatos' labs, the Holographic Transmaterializer was used by Demona to create nightmarish creatures that disrupted a Halloween parade, one in which the Manhattan clan was participating. Her intent was to frighten the humans, ruining the other gargoyles'attempts at interaction. The device was destroyed by Elisa Maza, and Demona was driven away.
The Holographic Transmaterializer could create solid creatures from energy, though the creatures themselves were more able to induce terror than to engage in battle.
