Clan: Formerly Avalon, now Demona's.

Bloodline: Son of Goliath and Demona; Angela's brother.

Status: Formerly Gabriel's second-in-command, now Demona's.

History:

Jericho was Gabriel's second-in-command on Avalon. The rest of his brothers and sisters worried that he might someday challenge or cause trouble for Gabriel. This tension grew when the clan approached their first breeding season, when a female named Tourmaline tried to win Jericho as a consolation prize when she couldn't have Gabriel.

Jericho was also dissatisfied with his own and his clan's performance as warriors, especially in the wake of the attack by the Archmage. Jericho himself was injured by MacBeth during that battle.

Demona, once she remembered that she had laid two eggs that final breeding season, convinced Titania to take her to
Avalon. She quickly discovered Jericho's restlessness and convinced him to return to the outer world with her, promising to help him become the warrior he sought to be.

After she taught him of the 20th century world, Jericho began to develop an unhealthy attraction to his mother. This first manifested as unquestioning loyalty, leading him to cold-bloodedly murder several humans and help her capture Thailog (or, as he was otherwise known, Ebon of the rock band Scarlet Angel).

Later, Jericho teamed up with Anton and Gustav Sevarius to steal and brainwash the clones from the Labyrinth, leaving a trail of destruction and injured mutates in their wake.

After working himself half-to-death making warriors of the clones, Jericho took a vacation. He went to Club Gung-Ho, the
complete commando-training vacation experience, where he met Hudson, striking up a friendship with the elder gargoyle. The two gargoyles, along with a few humans, helped defeat Wolf and a team of mercenaries. Before returning to Demona, Hudson told him of Elektra, who had left Avalon to bring Jericho back, and that she cared about him. This added a new wrinkle to Jericho's life.

Jericho's tormented lust for Demona eventually reached a head, and, with Demona's subtle urgings, he was led to fulfill his desires with her. This was just before Elektra, Broadway, and Brendan were returned to Manhattan by Avalon. She tried to convince Jericho to abandon Demona's evil, but it was far too late. However, the Manhattan clan was summoned, and they imprisoned Jericho for a short time before Demona kidnapped Peter and Diane Maza, and demanded an exchange. Jericho was returned to his mother, leader, and mate.

When the Manhattan clan began its breeding season, how far gone Jericho was became known. When Angela confronted him, hoping to reason with him, he tried to seduce her. He and Demona conceived a child, but the baby was miscarried because of Demona's transformations. When Elisa was threatened on New Year's Eve 1999 by gargoyle-haters, Jericho saved her, not out of some lingering goodness, but for one reason- Demona might return to Goliath were he and Elisa separated, but as long as the
two were together, Demona would be Jericho's.

Some time later, Jericho experienced a rather provocative dream, thanks to his accidental exposure to a powerful hallucinogen created by Gustav Sevarius.

Jericho remains with Demona to this day, helping her in her plots against the Manhattan clan and humankind.

Jericho suffers from a severe Oedipal conflict, hating Goliath and desiring Demona. She is aware of this and manipulates him to strengthen her hold on his loyalty. He has a quick temper and has gladly accepted Demona's outlook on the world and the
humans. He was once only a dissatisfied and bitter youth, but has become a xenophobic killing machine. He believes that Goliath
deliberately turned Angela against their mother and would try to do the same to him.

Powers, Abilities, and Weaknesses:

Jericho possesses the typical abilities of gargoyles. He is probably as strong as Goliath, and may be more skilled as a warrior, thanks to his constant training.

Jericho has Demona's sharp features and coloring. His red hair often falls rakishly over one eye. He has his father's build
and wingspan, though before he left Avalon he hadn't quite finished filling out. He carries a gold-hilted dagger.
