The Lady of the Lake has had many legends told of her and her relationship to King Arthur Pendragon. The main tale is that she waits for Arthur to return to her when he has awakened to regain Excalibur. This was proven untrue when he showed up hundreds of years early due to his being awakened by Elisa Maza. She tested him to see if he was still worthy of weilding Excalibur by conjuring a water elemental creature and seeing if he could defeat it. He did, and the Lady sent him on his way with the next clue to finding his sword, sinking back into the Lake.

She cares for the fate of Arthur and his fabled sword. She is currently attending the Gathering on Avalon, and whether she will have further dealings with Arthur remains to be seen.

The Lady of the Lake is a Child of Oberon, and has all powers inherent to her kind, including levitation, conjuring, teleportation and various other magicks.
