Luach was the son of MacBeth and Gruoch. He was a childhood friend of Canmore, the son of King Duncan, and the two spent much time together until Canmore's banishment to England.

Luach eventually grew into a strong man. He was shocked by MacBeth's brief consideration of forswearing Demona's clan to the English, which MacBeth only did to show his son that a wise king must consider all his options. Soon after, Luach left to get reinforcements against Canmore and his English allies, but by the time he returned, MacBeth had been 'slain' by Canmore, and Bodhe passed the crown of the high kingship to Luach. He then left, and Luach commanded his Scottish forces against those of Canmore. Sadly, Canmore slew his childhood friend during that battle, a fact which still saddened MacBeth to the present day.

Luach was a brave and strong warrior, much like his father MacBeth.
