Luach is hatched July 4, 2038, at the close of the Clone Wars. He is very much like his mother Arin MacDuff, though he is more subtle in his disposition, tending to be more shy and bookish. His love of adventure, however, is another story, especially sneaking over to the Forbidden Zone (Long Island), still occupied by Sevarius's clones and mutates. He has many treasures he has collected from his adventures, his most valued (at least in his opinion) are his army jacket (his grandfather Lennox MacDuff's service jacket from World War II) and an old family album. He is not as physical as most gargoyles, and he prefers to think his way out of situations. When that is not possible, however....
He encountered Nate Lovecraft, a Bronx cop from the 19th Precinct. Since then, they had followed the Devourer through the timestreams, gathering others as guided by the Weird Sisters, the only clue being the "Four gargoyles born of Darkness." After the ordeal was over (and everyone save Malibu and Caligo stripped of their memories of the incident), he returned to his own time, oblivious of what had happened.
Since then, four more gargoyles have joined Clan Manhattan: Ereinee, Lexington's daughter from Clan Delphi, her best friend, Tellemacus, and Urites, their garg-beast, as well as C-4, Luc's friend from Clan Dirigo, created from the unified Clan Winslow, Outklaws, and drifters.
Then comes the double-whammy that only a soap opera could portray better: Luc has fallen in love with Ereinee, as well as Tellemacus. However, Ereinee's oblivious to both their advances, and causing a massive competition between the two males. C-4, in the background is in love with Luc, though she has told him about her feelings.
We can only wait to see what happens next.
Luc has the normal attributes of gargoyles, though he is slightly smaller than most his age and weaker, probably because of his inter-species mix. Also, he possesses "The Willed Word," a magic that requires no spell, only one word fueled by the will and energy of the user. He is currently learning to use sources other than his own energy to fuel it, though, still as untrained as he is, the Power is making him sick. However, he is gaining better control. He has a tendency to use "Reveal" a little too often, which tends to pull him into a great deal of trouble, twice with the Grail.
