History:

Robyn Canmore was born in 1966 to her father Charles Canmore. She had a brother two years older than her named Jason, and eventually a younger brother named Jon.

When she was 14, her father took her and her brothers to the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, to watch as he finally completed the Hunt and tried to kill Demona. She felt that just because their ancestors hunted gargoyles didn't mean that she and her brothers had to, but Charles told her that it was their destiny as Canmores.

Charles attacked Demona as she was acquiring the Praying Gargoyle, and in front of Robyn and her brothers, he was thrown to his death.

After that, Robyn and her brothers spent their lives training to hunt gargoyles and avenge their father.  In 1995, they heard rumors of many gargoyle sightings in Manhattan and went their to invesitgate.

Robyn heard rumors that Dominique Destine had never been seen at night, and infiltrated Nightstone Unlimited under the alias Robyn Correy, who had a Masters Degree from the Sorbonne, and references from Edinburgh and Florence.  Dominique Destine was impressed with Robyn's resume and hired her immediately.

Later that night, Robyn and her brothers went to Xanatos's warehouse on the East River where Demona had earlier sent a group of thugs to steal DI/7, and were surprised to see three gargoyles. They mistook Angela for Demona and
attacked her, as well as Goliath and Hudson.  After they nearly killed Angela, the gargoyles escaped, and Jason explained to them that Angela wasn't "the demon."  But they soon figured out that there was indeed a whole new clan in New York, which they would destroy- although Jon was uncertain of this plan.

Robyn returned to Nightstone Unlimited the next day where Dominique introduced her to Dr. Anton Sevarius. As Sevarius showed them the schematics for the CV-1000 Carrier Virus, Robyn figured out that it could be bonded to a pathogen and cause a plague that could threaten the whole planet, but also said it could be a most profitable endeavor. Dominique
told Robyn that she'd fit right in.

That night, Robyn set the Huntership on a route that would attract attention and hopefully lure the gargoyles to them. She and Jon ambushed Goliath, Lexington, and Brooklyn as they were fighting with Demona and captured them, placing them in a cell.  Robyn placed a tracing device on Goliath's shoulder as she ushered him into the cell.

The gargoyles escaped and she and Jon attacked them, only to be defeated by Goliath and Demona, thrown into a wall and seemingly electrocuted.  They survived thanks to insulated suits.

Jason soon returned and was furious to learn that the gargoyles escaped. Robyn explained that there were even more gargoyles than they thought. She went on to say that they let them go so they could follow them back to their lair, and destroy them all at once.

They tracked the gargoyles to the Clock Tower above the 23rd Precinct house, where Robyn stopped Jason and Jon from going in by saying that there could be a huge clan inside, and prepared to fire missiles into the Tower. Jon told her that she couldn't do it due to the risk of hurting people, and she said she'd  make sure it was a surgical strike. When Jon suggested they wait till dawn and then go in and shatter them, Robyn explained that Demona and Dominique Destine were one and the
same. Therefore, she could have shared this sorcery with the others and they could become human and walk out in broad daylight. Jason gave her permission to fire the missiles, and after a twenty second countdown, she fired the missiles into the Clock Tower.

The Manhattan Clan survived, but Robyn recorded their retreat and gave the tape to Jon, so that he could reveal the existence of the gargoyles to the world as Jon Carter.

Robyn later broke into Demona's safe at Nightstone and stole a computer disk from inside, and then received a call from Dominique saying that she was taking a working vacation. Dominique suggested that Robyn take a few days off and enjoy life, as it was so fleeting.

The Canmores rested their airship beneath a dam, where Robyn attempted to decode the disk. Soon the tracer that she placed on Goliath showed up again right on their location. They attacked Goliath, and she was prepared to kill him when Broadway rammed her skysled. After a battle with Goliath, Jason and Elisa Maza seemingly fell to their deaths.

Inside the Huntership later, Jon blamed his compassion for the gargoyles as the reason Jason was dead, and vowed to make them pay. Robyn was less certain and did not want to lose Jon in addition to Jason and their father.  Just then, the disk was finally decrypted, and Demona's statistical specs for her plan to destroy humanity on the night of the Hunter's Moon came up.

They went to St. Damien's Cathedral where Jon spotted Demona and rammed the Huntership into the condemned Cathedral.  They donned exo-armor and prepared to kill Demona before being attacked by the Manhattan Clan.

After a huge fight with the Manhattan Clan, Elisa and Jason appeared alive and well, where Jason realized the error of their ways and tried to persuade them to end the Hunt.  Jon was about to when he remembered Demona's plan.  At that point they heard Demona shoot Brooklyn and Jon interpretted Goliath's reaction as a threat, and shot him... only to have the shot taken
by Jason.

Robyn immediately ran to Jason's side and tried to persuade Jon to help her save Jason.  But Jon's guilt turned into fanatical denial and he flew off vowing revenge.

Robyn later witnessed Goliath destroy the Praying Gargoyle to save humanity from Demona and was surprised that he risked his life to save them all.  Elisa told her "that's what he does.  That's who he is."

Robyn got Jason to an ambulance shortly before being taken into custody herself.  She visited Jason at the hospital briefly before Elisa did.

In Greg Weisman's Master Plan, Robyn would have been approched by a Federal Agent known only as the Director and offered the choice of leading a team on missions for him or spending the rest of her life in prison.  She accepts and coerces Dingo, Matrix, Yama, and Fang into joining this team.  She would have soon learned that her brother changed his name to John Castaway and was leading the Quarrymen.  Jason would also have been a cause of her concern. She and Dingo would have had a stormy relationship, but would have eventually fallen in love and gotten married. By 2198, their descendants would be at odds with the Castaways.
